Part Number: TLC2543 Hello,
the leakage current of the TLC2543 is announced in the datasheet between -10µA and +10µA. Do you know if this dispersion between components is a random drift which follow a gaussian law ? If yes do you know the standard deviation…
Part Number: BOOSTXL-TLC2543 Hello,
I bought an eval kit bootloader-EVM2543 with its launchpad support, I hope to download EVM graphical user interface (GUI)
install from the Tools and Software from the site. but I can not find the software. www.ti.com…
Part Number: TLC2543-EP Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC2543 , Hello.
I am using the TLC2543 to measure an output voltage provided by a temperature sensor (i.e. a relatively slowly changing signal). I provide an external clock with a frequency of 2…
Part Number: TLC2543 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV2556 We are having to replace the TLC2543 parts on a regular basis to get our product to work. I have taken a look at the part and notice that upon initialization the part will either operate correctly…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC2543 , ADS7870 I am looking into two different development boards which uses TLC2543 and ADS7870 for A to D conversion. From comparing both IC's I have found out that the resolution of both is 12 bit. However, development…
Part Number: TLC2543-EP Analog channel input bias current. Am I correctly interpreting the datasheet that the input bias currents are ±10µamps as listed in the "Selected channel leakage current"?
Part Number: TLC2543 We have been using the TLC2543 for many years with the same circuit and software, which respects all setup, hold and conversion times with a margin. We now find that a number of recently manufactured units have the same fault - the…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC2543 , ADS8664 , ADS8028 , ADS7950 , ADC124S021 Does anyone have any insight info about the expected lifetime of TLC2543?
We have successfully used it for almost 15 years but now we starting to design the next generation…
Hi Gerald,
There should be no issues running the TLV2556 at the same 66kSPS that is used by the TLC2543. There are more features in the TLV2556, but otherwise they are compatible with each other.
Thanks for the information, we will look into which option works best with our firmware. Currently we use the same clock for other devices so we need to assess the impact to our code. Oddly we have been using the TLC2543 for years without issue. The TLV…
