Hi A,
1) Yes, there is no R/G/B difference from the device point of view. we have one TI reference design with TLC5958 that you have already found in last E2E question.
2) Yes, for 8*32, 2* TLC6946 with 8 scan lines is enough. they are similar for you…
Hi, Ben,
For 7 segment display we would recommand TLC59283 + P-MOS/PNP to build a multiplexing topology.
You can refer to TIDA-00737 and replace TLC5916 with TLC59283.
Please help to click "Resolve" if the problem is solved.
Thanks.

Hi, Dinesh,
Please refer to the sample code of TLC59283, which is similiar to TLC5928.

Hi, David,
From your schematic, it seems you're using the same SIN / SCLK but different latch signal?
Are DBLTCH and WBLTCH the same signal?
You can also refer to the attached TLC59283 code for reference.

Please let me know…
Hi Kenneth,
thank you for your answer, however, our system requires LED fail detection and global brightness controller, therefore TLC59283 is not an option in this case.
Anyway, I am still somewhat confused by the fact that immediately after power-up…
Hi Kenneth,
do you see any concern using PWM integrated solution (tlc4947) since at least 7x multiplexing solution is required ?
what about using tlc59283 ?
