Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5941 , TLC5940 Please let me know two points below about how to use TLC5941.
- Although I think that the data of SCLK updates SID data by the 193rd bit, when this bit does not exist, what happens? For example) 193 bits…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5941 Is there has any code examples for the tlc5941 or other common examples ? it had better is a c language format not asm format.
thanks a lot
Hello,
We have a mode where we have to dim to really low levels. Is there a trick to doing this? We been able to use the grey scale for brightness and on/off without any trouble, and have just left the DOT register at 1's.
Our assumption has been the…
Hello Scott-san,
TLC5941 has no internally circuit to reject for radiation noise.
TLC5941 has been used for LED panel. But I have never heard noise issue by the PWM output yet.
Best Regards

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5941 There are three questions below about TLC5941. I would appreciate your advice.
- Although SCLK and GSCLK are written to be 30 MHz (max), how much is a Min value?
- When BLANK is "H", is a PWM setup of GS also reset…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC59461 , TLC5941 Hi, I'm running a chain of TLC chips and I can get the FIRST chip to fail with some kind of internal short from VCC to GND pretty consistently. If I replace that chip, everything continues to work…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5941 TI Team,
I'm using the TLC5941 in a professional high end video system. I have the TLC5941 configured to drive a several rows of OSRAM LEDS. I've attached two pictures that show the layout of my board, The front…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5941 I would like to use TLC5941 to drive 6 LEDs in series on each channels, Vf is around 3.3 ~ 3.8V at If = 20mA with 22~24V LED supply.
I found that on first page of datasheet metion the LED Power Supply "Vled" is up…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5941 Hello. I am making a high brightness pixel module. Colour needs update at 60Hz. The LED channels each require 150mA.
When considering parallel ouputs of TLC5941, vs single outputs of TLC5970, I see that there are…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5941 I'm looking at the TLC5941 and seeing a pulse on XERR just after the BLANK. In the capture below, yellow is XERR (1k pullup), blue is BLANK. This pulse seems to appear when I raise the current through 16 LEDs…
