Part Number: TLV320ADC5140 Hi, Team
our customer use ADC5140 in their pro audio speaker, and they use DC-coupled for input signal.
and they prefer to adjust the input impedance to improve the system performance. they find 2.5 kΩ should be a good input impedance…
Hi Sanjay,
They need to evaluate the noise cause by changing the PGA while playing.
In PCM1865, there was a zero-cross detection and this was able to eliminate the noise caused by gain change.
They want to evaluate how much noise TLV320ADC5140 cause when…
Hi Shengo Ding,
Thanks for the reply,
We are using 5.10.158 LTS kernel.
Yes we want to configure for i2s.
We have desinged the board to use i2s.
The link you have providde is not working.
Please guide us with i2s configuration example which works with…
Part Number: TLV320ADC5140
I'm struggling to understand how I need to configure the TLV320ADC5140 to take two PDM microphones (hardware-configured for left and right) on a single TLV320 channel and send the data via I2S.
Whatever configuration I…
Part Number: TLV320ADC5140 What will happen to the full-scale input voltage when this IC is operated at AVDD=3.6V? Please answer regarding differential input and single-ended input.
If I use a stable voltage source, will there be any operational problems…
Part Number: TLV320ADC5140 Hello In Table 2 of the TLV320ADC5140 application note "TLV320ADCx140 Sampling Rates and Programmable Processing Blocks Supported", it appears that only 3 channels can be enabled when the sampling rate is 192kHz. Does…

Hi Kasugai-san,
The design team got back to me quickly and my assumption was correct: The registers must be written and read in a 4 byte sequence. The instructions are present in the PCM6xx0-Q1 (PCM6240-Q1) datasheet and is pending being corrected in…
Part Number: TLV320ADC5140 IS it mandatory to terminate the N channel to GND using AC coupling cap in Single ended mode?
When using External Bias supply, the internal bias can be terminated to Caps right? we are connecting the O/P amp to the i/p of the…
Hello Hayashi,
I was able to confirm my above test from our TI expert and you can pick either the mic or line input configuration for your analog type signals and expect normal operation within the device.
