Alternatively,
You can set up the device in an inverting configuration. This way the hysteresis network won't bias any impedances seen on your input signal. I made a simulated circuit using the TLV7041. You can still use LM2903 here, but the TLV7041 is…
Hi Paul,
Thanks for your response. In answer to your question, I might need more than 5V operation, but not more than 5.5V operation. I also need open-drain outputs so it's between the TLV7021 and TLV7041. It seems like the TLV7021 is faster in terms…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV7041 Hi,
I am looking to design a thermal thermostat, with TLV7041. I have a couple of queries :
1- Is there any comparator like TLV7041, but bigger in size maybe? I need to design its PCB, and don't want to pay extra…
Part Number: LMC7225 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMC7215 , TLV7021 , TLV1805 , TLV7041 Hello,
Two quick questions:
1. What is the max operating voltage on the output? I see Abs. Max as V+ + 0.3, but is that the same for normal operation?
2.Is the output…
Part Number: TLV3401 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV7031 , , TLV7041 Hi Team,
The recommended pull up resistor is 1MΩ, we want the circuit to have higher output current, so the pull up resistor is changed to 10kΩ, but the simulated result shows that…
Part Number: LMV7235 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMV7219 , TLV1805 , TLV7011 , TLV7021 , TLV7031 , TLV7041 What are good ways to keep the output of the LMV7235 (Open Drain) 'low' during power-up?
Same question for Push-Pull outputs like the LMV7219…

For more headroom on the input, you could consider switching to the LMV393.
And if you can handle using single channel devices, your suggestion of switching to the TLV7041 or the TLV7021 would provide rail to rail input capability at significantly…

You are in luck. we just released a technical document that we refer to as a Cookbook circuit that should help you with this application. The part recommended in the document is an TLV7041. Here is a link to the document ... www.ti.com/.../snoaa02…

Connecting the TLV7041 will have no impact to the sound quality since the input to the tlv7041 is very high impedance. the comparator inputs are gates to MOSFET transistors.
The best options are the TLV7031 (push-pull output stage) or TLV7041 (open-drain output stage). These comparators consume 335nA with 3us of propagation delay. They should be plenty fast enough for your application and are pretty low power. The lowest…
