Part Number: TLV9032-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9032 , TLV9022 Tool/software: Hi TI,
I have an application in which the inputs of the TLV9032 will see a voltage higher than the supply voltage. Is it OK to clamp the input voltage with the internal…
Hi Muwei,
The newer push-pull version of the LM393LV-Q1 is the TLV9032-Q1 .
TLV7032-Q1 and TLV1812-Q1 are good options if you would like to trade some speed for lower power.
What is the higher propagation delay that is acceptable for your end equipment…

With an open-drain output, the rise time is limited by the strength of the pull-up resistor.
You could change the resistor (see figure 6-9 for the effect on the V OL ). But if you do not need level shifting, use a push/pull comparator like the TLV9032-Q1…
In the TLV9032 datasheet, section 6.6 applies to TLV90x2 devices, and section 6.8, to TLV90x4 devices. Apparently, this part of the caption was accidently left out when these tables were copied to the TLV9032-Q1 datasheet.
Yes. The HC and LVC families have somewhat different characteristics, but for this applications, this does not matter.
You should use actual comparators like the TLV9032-Q1.
Part Number: TLV3202-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV3202 , TLV9032 , TLV7032 , LM393LV
Hi
below is the circuit, during test, TLV3202 is easy to be damaged, mainly focus on pin 3, when pin 7 output 5V, pin 3 is 1.69V or 3.72V, it is 5V for good board…
