Hi Given,
Thank you for posting to the Sensing forum.
The TMP235 DCK package is pin-to-pin compatible with the LM20BIM7X/NOPB. If the customer can use a different sensor gain the TMP235 would be a newer, higher-accuracy replacement.
Link to comparison…
Hi Lucas,
I believe that it should not be a problem if you were to set pin 5 as NC instead of power for the TMP20. However, I would highly recommend your customer use the TMP235 if they are looking for a P2P replacement for the LMT86. The TMP235 also…
Ren, sorry, my mistake. I did mean TMP235! Having looked at the data sheet, I don't think the package is as useful to me as the TO92 which houses the LM35. I'm glad you commented on the problem that would arise from feeding 'fig.18' with a 5V supply…
Part Number: LM35 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP235 , LM70 , LMT01 , TMP117 , Hi Team,
Please let me know, is the part LM35CZ/NOPB suitable to use as cold junction compensator IC?
If yes, I didn't see a description in datasheet of the IC being used…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDM-02002 , TIDA-010054 , TMP235 , AMC1311 , AMC3302 , LMT87 I have a question about the following model numbers (1) and (2) of the reference design provided by your company.
I think DCDC has voltage mode control, current mode…
Hello Given,
The link below shows all analog sensors which support -40C to 150C and are available in SC70(DCK) 5 pin package. TMP9A00-EP is the only device with the same gain of -11.77mV/C. If you can use a different sensor gain, TMP235 is a good candidate…
Hi Josh,
After checking the forum and looking at the datasheets of other analog temperature sensors, I understand that the standard process is to measure the time it takes fo the device to reach 63% of 125C from 25C. For LMT70, it is 1.5 sec in when submerged…
Part Number: TIDA-010054 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP235 , AMC1311 Hi,
I am working on TIDA-010054.
On U8 (LMZ31707RVQR), why is AGND connected to PGND???
In the datasheet, it is said not to:

Hi Gordon,
Thank you for posting to the Sensing forum.
The TMP235 is available in a SOT-23 package that is pin-to-pin compatible with the LM50. Additionally, the TMP235 will have a gain of +10 mV/°C and an offset of 500 mV from -40°C to 100°C. The input…
Hi JH,
TMP20 is a drop-in replacement for LM20 that offers better output current drive.
TMP235 is our latest analog temperature sensor with increased accuracy.
LMT70 is our highest accuracy analog temperature sensor.
thanks,
