  • RE: TPS65181B: I2C register function

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately it doesn't work this way. I can control all registers and set bits but the rails doesn't react. V3P3 works but not the rails. However at GPIO control all rails work perfectly. Perhaps I need to read out or write…

  • RE: TPS65181B: VCOM Voltage Problem

In meanwhile I found out, that it's possible to activate both voltages (VCOM + rest) by going from sleep -> active modus directly with GPIO control. But it isn't possible going from standby mode into active mode (VCOM + rest of voltages) by GPIO control…

  • RE: TPS65181B I2C Pull Up

Your i2c host may require a pull-up to drive the SCL line, but the PMIC does not. As far as the PMIC is concerned, SCL is only an input, so it does not require a pull-up to operate. The SDA pin is an open drain output and thus requires a pull-up to…

Thanks for the answer. The TPS65185 should be the better (newer) one than the TPS65180? But I've got still a quite old display anyway?! (ED097OC1) What would you recommend: TPS65181B or TPS65185

Hello, The UCC3806 is a dual output controller though it can be used in a flyback where only one of the outputs are used to drive the switch it might be better to choose a single output controller. Look at page 46 of the attached under General Purpose…

Siyu, I think the toggle flip-flop in the block diagram on page one of the spec should have let you know that the max you will get with this device is 50% duty. Go to page 43 and 44 of the attached and select a more suitable part.
