Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65186
I will use TPS65186 for e-ink panel but I have a problem.
I don't understand type of diode.
This diode connected to VB_SW pin and VN_SW pin.
Is this diode schottky or zener?
Hi All,.
Customer is checking the TPS6518X series to 170 mA support possible, Could you suggest the right part or road map for the requirement please ? thanks
I am currently developing with the eval kit and my VPOS voltage is 16V while my VNEG voltage is -15V. These should be even +- 15V. I have tried adjusting the Trim to bring down VPOS but it has no effect. The trim only effects the VNEG value which is odd…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65186 Hi
I am using the TPS65186 for power management IC in our system. But I have few questions for this IC.
1. What is the measurement timing when measure kick-back voltage of the panel in the TPS65186?
2. How to calculate…
Part Number: TPS65185 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65186 During reading the TPS65185 / TPS651851 system documentation (link) http://www.ti.com/document-viewer/TPS65185/datasheet/abstract#SLVSAQ85042 in chapter 7.5 Electrical Characteristic we found…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65186 , TPS65185 Would you please help to give some recommendation about the PMIC selection for E Ink design. Input of this PMIC could be 3.3 or 5V. The PMIC need to have the +-15V output for source and +28/-22V output…
Hi,
The input could be 5V or 12v(based on best solution to modify schematic), and I'm looking for PMIC like TPS65186, TPS65155 or reference design like PMP9770.
Please help to check is there any reference design or PMIC suitable, thank you very much…
Hi David,
What is the exact part number of the populated device?
A TPS65186 on a board designed for the TPS65185 might behave this way.
Have you tried both i2c addresses? The TPS65185 uses 0x68h and the TPS65186 uses 0x48h.
Best Regards,
Rick S.
Dear Richard Solarski,
Thanks for your guidance.
I bought TPS65185EVM from China, now a days I am in Pakistan,
1.How can I get TPS65185EVM (2 pcs) boards only (no need USB cables and USB Adapter) and TPS65185 IC(2pcs) to finish my R&D.
2. My final…
Hello Joe,
A change in the output capacitance will not change the point where the IC reaches power save mode. Just the current in the inductor decides if the IC is in continuous conduction mode or in discontinuous conduction mode. So you are reducing…
