Part Number: VOLT-DIVIDER-CALC It is hard to believe that a design aid as poor as "VOLT-DIVIDER-CALC" should exist on TI's otherwise excellent web site.
1) The first thing I noticed is that it often gives answers that are plain wrong. For…
Hello Foong Wei Seng,
Here you can find the accuracy of the feedback node in PFM as well as in CCM: TPS63070 datasheet | TI.com
The output accuracy is dependent on the feedback node accuracy and the resistor divider accuracy. This tool helps to calculator…
Part Number: BOOSTXL-DRV8320RS Hello, We are using the BOOSTXL-DRV8320RS and TMS320F28004x with a very small low power motor, roughly 1.8 watts. The motor voltage is 12V and draws roughly 0.15 amps @ 4000 rpm. Max motor current is 0.620 amps.
I see that…
Hello Matthew,
I am already configured with a 32-pin package, and it is working as an external voltage reference. However, it is not functioning properly. When I apply a voltage of 30 volts, it reads between 25 and 26.9 volts. I measured the divider voltage…
Hello Tamura,
The evaluation module will output 29V in it's default state. This setting is for charging a 7S battery. To change this setting, you'll need to change the FB voltage divider. You can do this by changing R64 in the image you sent. …
Hi Ethen,
Ethan Galloway said: 1. Over voltage limit is set by the ACUV/ACOV voltage divider. You can check the BQ25756 design calculator for information on the correct setting: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/BQ25756-DESIGN-CALC/
Question: Do you mean…
Hi,
This means the voltage divider alone cannot get 5V - you need to get the volt-seconds clamp correct too. The voltage divider can only adjust the output voltage up to the volt-seconds allowed.
