Is it possible if I need to put 2V input on the Ref A side and put 5V on the Ref B side.
In that case 2V will be up-translated to 3.3 V on the B side and 5V will be down-translated to 3.3V on the A side.
Because I saw the examples in the handbook…
Hey Joe, Welcome to the E2E forums! For level translators, you would probably need a bidirectional translator from this page: www.ti.com/.../bidirectional-voltage-translation-products.page Our team supporting the LM25066 have not tested different I2C…
Hello Vishal,
The LSF0102 has an IBIS model, but does not have a HSPICE model.
However, the PCA9306 (a very similar device) has an HSPICE and an IBIS model:
You can find this by going to the product folder and clicking on the tools & Software…
Hi Abhi,
In terms of the operation, this device is application specific to MMC. But, we understand that there are various requirements as the standards evolve.
I have attached a ppt which could be useful for us and hopefully for you to evaluate the…
Hi Khemraj ,
Are you using all the 10bit for translation ? you could consider LSF0108 and LSF0102 instead of the GTL2010 device.
As per the datasheet you have pointed out , 1.5V is the recommendation so i cannot defy the datasheet to say it would…
Hello Madhu,
Unfortunately we don't have anything that supports these high data rates in I2C group. Your best bet is either the LSF0102 or the TXS0102 translators. I know they both support open drain. I just don't know max data rates at what cap load…
Sherry, From the TCAN datasheet it appears that RXD is push pull and TXD is open drain (with integrated pull up) so the TXS may not meet your needs because of the open drain data rate limitations for this device. I'd recommend the LSF0102-Q1 isntead.…
Shreyas,
The 74lv1t125 does not appear to level translate from 1.8V to 5V from a 5V supply or from 5V to 1.8V Also, the drive current of 8mA is not adequate to drive a 50 ohm load. Also, I do not believe the lsf0102 level translation switch could drive…
Hello Cb1,
Thanks for the analysis. This makes point that in my application, 1.2V operation can be unstable at high frequency.
As you explained, level translator is very sensitive at low voltages, minor variation in 1V2 leading to very high amount…
Hi Peter ,
Welcome to e2e .
The TXS devices have built in 10K pullups in them and I believe having 4.7K pullups on B1 B2 are unnecessary unless you have a reason for them. I have the applications support copied for additional support . If you can…
