The TAS6421-Q1 must have I2C to work. There is no way around it. I am going to forward this to a coworker to help you choose the best part for your Piezo application.

At 125C most of our devices will have the overtemperature warning kick in.
That said have you taken a look at TAS6421-Q1? You're able to adjust the OTW warning on that device and the over temperature shutdown is typically at 160-175C.
