The PHY_MODE pins must be set according to the datasheet.
Are you planning to use the USB3.0 interface in the future?
If not, we recommend to use the TUSB1210 or TUSB1211.

We have our custom board + TUSB1210 on USB port 3 with ULPI turn on.
But the USB port3 phy keep status busy bit on when usb driver try to configure usb port3 phy and then timeout.

The HSUSB1 port only operates as clock master. You must use a ULPI PHY that supports the optional clock input mode defined in the ULPI specification. The TI TUSB1210 is one example of a ULPI PHY that supports this option.

Hi everybody,
I obtain the same behaviour (not needed of soft reset, but phy reset timeout at every boot), using dm3730 connected to Texas TUSB1210 phy.
Any help is very appreciated.

Are you always use the TUSB1310A just as a USB 2.0 PHY? Because there are specific devices for this like the TUSB1210 and TUSB1211.
