Part Number: UCC28880EVM-616 Hi team,
Can you advise what rule to select D3 diode specification? Do we need 600V diode? Because higher voltage rating is meant higher cost.
And what's purpose of C4?
Please advise.
Part Number: UCC28880EVM-616 Dear support member,
My customer looking for the device.
Could you teach the device and schematic of non-isolated type and output power 6W like UCC28880EVM?
Is it possible non-isolation type on UCC28740?
Specification co…

I have made one PCB to get AC110~220V to DC5V/100mA by using UCC28880 High side mode.
But there has very annoying audible noise, I've checked L2 switch side, is it any problem here?

The UCC28880 is probably more suitable to your application.
The issue with the UCC289x is that the VS pin requires a negative current input to turn on. This is simple to implement in a flyback but harder in a buck converter.
Please review the EVM schematic…
ALL,
I have a question about UCC28880EVM-616. I have already do some test use the EVM board. I find an interesting thing when I change the Inductor L2 value.
As we know, if increase the inductor value, the output ripple should be reduce in normal buck…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28880 Team,
i have a simple question about the efficiency graph.
why their have two kinds of efficiency ?
what is the meaning between the two efficiency line ?
for example, when the output power is 1W, there are two…
