OPA855: TIA application

Part Number: OPA855
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA858

Hello Forum,

I am designing a TIA for photodiode and thought of using the OPA855 as first stage TIA.

My application is as follows.

We will be using a balanced photodetector with theoretically no offset current (but I can add some small offset current 0-30uA) if needed.

Signal is sinewave between 1-100 MHz and amplitude between 10nA and 10uA.

Detector capacitance about 300fF.

Noise performance here is very critical, since later down the pipeline we need to extract information (such as amplitude) about the sinewave as precisely as possible.

Do you think OPA855 is the best choice here?

Thank you.
