Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA190, INA186
Hello Guys,
Is INA250 a good choice for multimeter application for current sensing 1uA to 1A or are there better choices in our portfolio you can suggest?
Thanks and regards,
Art

Art,
I would advise against the integrated shunt products. To be able to reliably use these products in a design, the current you wish to measure needs to be sufficiently larger than the offset current (5mA typical, 20mA max) and the input bias currents (28uA typ, 35uA max). 1uA would be unmeasurable by this device.
For measurements this low, I would recommend having a look at the INA190 or INA186. These devices are more geared to currents in the uA range, as they have bias currents in the nano/pico amps.
