Can someone please detail why the INA209 is more than double the cost of the INA219?

In looking at the block diagrams of the two devices you will notice a significant amount of additional functionality with the INA209.
INA209:
First, the INA209 has outputs that report the following conditions: critical (shunt voltage), overlimit (power and bus voltage), and warning (power, bus voltage, and shunt voltage) signals.
Also, the critical path also includes 2 DACs and 2 comparators that are not present in the INA219. This will add die size and package size (INA209 is in a 16-pin TSSOP while the INA219 comes in SO-8 and SOT23-8.
