Hello,
I have parts from both the Aguascalientes and Malaysia assembly site and each part has a different lead-frame design.
Will this affect the parts functionally?

Hi Dorian,
have you bought both from an authorized TI's distributor?

Hello Dorian,
Different assembly sites can have different build materials, depending on their capabilities.
I can confirm that the leadframes are different between the Malaysia and Mexico sites, and that the X-rays resemble the leadframe drawings.
Everything is the same except the leadframe - same die, mold compound, die attach, bond wires and plating.
So, essentially, they are identical and will perform the same.
