LMH6881EVAL: LabVIEW run time engine is not found though it's actually installed

Part Number: LMH6881EVAL

Hi team,

My customer would like to evaluate LMH6881EVAL. However, when they attempt to start LMH688x_GUIV1.0.exe, it shows error of "LabVIEW Runtime engine is not found" whereas it's installed on PC.

Could you please provide any advice to install the GUI successfully?

[NI LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2011 is installed]

[Error Message]

"LMH688x_GUIV1.0 requires version 2011 of the LabVIEW runtime engine. To resolve this issue, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the LMH688x_GUIV1.0 or download the LabVIEW runtime engine from the National Instruments website.

Do you want to go to ni.com and download LabVIEW runtime engine?"

Best regards,

Shota Mago

  • Hello Mago-san,

I received the same error when trying to open LMH688x_GUIV1.0.exe file. I see that the customer did install 2011 LabView runtime engine, and it still didn't work. I installed this version:

Then I restarted my PC, and re-clicked on the executive file, and the GUI is working on my end. Can the customer try restarting their PC if they have not yet? If they have, then they should uninstall the LabView 11 on their end, and reinstall the version I have in the picture. Sometimes 32bit programs work better than 64bit.

    Thank you,

    Sima

  • Hi Sima-san,

Though 2011(64bit) with restarting can't start the GUI, 2011(32bit) with restarting can start it successfully!

Thank you so much for resolving this issue quickly!

    Best regards,

    Shota Mago
