AMC3301: SNR and Clock rate

Part Number: AMC3301

Hi team,

Could you share more details on dv/dt spike noise, peak to peak noise and time domain noise waveform?

  • Hi Ruixin,

I'm not sure what you are looking for when you say you would like more detail on the 'dv/dt noise spike' of the AMC3301.  Is there are particular use case or operational mode you have in mind?  Figure 8-4 on page 24 of the datasheet shows the output transition in the case of a full scale (-250mV to +250mV) input step.

There are also various plots throughout the datasheet showing SNR data sweeps under various voltage/input/temperature conditions.  I'm afraid I don't understand the clock rate question - could you elaborate on that for me please?

  • Hi Tom,

Per talk with customer, the detail needs are as follows:

1.Customer need 0.1Hz~10Hz time domain noise waveform.

    2. Customer think we can share noise results of  typical test condition like 10kV/us 400V step.

    3. Besides, do we have iso-amp which has higher oversampling freq, like 80MHz?

    Thanks!

    Rayna

  • Hi Rayna,

Please send me a note directly and we can chat about items 1 and 2.  At the moment, our modulators do not run at frequencies over 20MHz.
