Amplify pulse to drive 50ohm load

I have a 5V pulse coming from a high impedance source. The pulse can range from 50nsec to 500nsec with a PRF of 1k to 10k. I need to design an amplifier circuit for the pulse signal that allows it to drive a 50ohm load (static load). Is there a TI amplifier part number that you could recommend for this application?

Would it be possible to not use an op amp for this application and instead use a fast linear regulator that is connected to the source of a P MOSFET? The P MOSFET would be gated by the high impedance 5V pulsed signal except the signal would be inverted. The gate of the MOSFET would have a pull up resistor and the drain of the MOSFET would have a pull down resistor. If this is possible is there a TI lindear regulator you would recommend.

Thanks in advance to anybody who takes the time to respond
