There is a problem with the multi-cal-system of PGA308 in use. Please check whether you can repair it or guide my customer to do some tests to find the problem.  thank you!

A few days ago, The multical PCA board was used to verify and test the 4-20MA function, but it was not connected strictly according to the following figure, and the GND and NEG in the following figure were mistakenly short-connected together.  Since then, there have been problems.  Even the 0-5V output functions that were tested before are not available.

    Unfortunately it sounds as though the system may have been damaged. If using the Multi-Cal-Test PCA, under the connection conditions you're describing, the VnegX supply for the test card will be shorted to GND. This means that the Io of the XTR will also be shorted to GND. Normally I would not expect this to damage the XTR, however.

    In order to determine with confidence which part of the system has been damaged, you may consider unplugging the test PCA that was potentially damaged, connecting it to an external power supply, and verifying that the Vout correctly tracks the Sensor emulation positions. Start in voltage mode, then try current mode, to determine if the PGA308 is still healthy and then if the XTR is still healthy. If the test PCA seems to be working as expected, then the problem may lie with the Master board. I would also suggest probing the terminal blocks on the Interface board to make sure the supply voltages Pos and Neg are where one would expect.

    Does the customer have a spare Multi-Cal-Test PCA board that they can try using with the system? Can they try using a different socket on the interface board and seeing if the results change?

    Can you describe in greater detail the "problems" they are seeing?
