Part Number: INA210

Hello,

We are looking for current sense amplifiers that can be used for 150A bidirectional current measurement low-side? Can you confirm we can use INA21X family for this application? Any other part for 150A bidirectional current amplifier for low side voltage measurement is also appreciated.

Hey Renan,

The INA21x can definitely be use here, as well as any other bidirectional CSA that include 0-V in its operational common mode voltage (VCM) range. To determine the optimal device, we need more system requirements such as acceptable shunt resistance, desired gain, desired output full scale range, desired BW, power supply, and required accuracy. For low side applications, it is also important to know what the minimum possible VCM could be at any point, so we can make sure to choose a CSA that can survive this or add protection resistors that will protect the CSA when VCM < 0V.
