Hi Team,
May I ask about the min TJ of THS6212? It's not included in the datasheet.
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Livia

Hi Livia,
assume the ambient temperature is the recommended minimum ambient temperature of -40°C and the THS6212 becomes turned-on (after a longer turn-off phase). How much is the junction temperature in this moment? This is the recommended minimum junction temperature
Kai
Hi Livia,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Tj (max) in this context is meant as a maximum junction temperature the device can sustain while maintaining safe operating conditions. You'll notice similar two entries exist in the Abs Max table (6.1) of the same data sheet. One in the context of short term, one for long-term reliable operation.
As Kai mentioned, the junction temperature while unpowered approximates ambient temperature. What this parameter is meant to show is how high the junction temperature will go during operation of the device, as it heats up internally. Hence the one-sided (max only) specification.
I hope this helps.

Vladimir
Hi Vladimir,
Thanks for your and Kai's detail explanation, it really helps.
