INA3221: ADC native resolution

Hi Sir,

Base on the datasheet mentioned the fixed 8-mV bus-voltage register LSB, a full-scale register value results in 32.76V.
If I use the 12-bit to calculate I can get the 32.76V register value.
Why the ADC native resolution is 13-bit?

Hello Henry,

The sign bit is not used in the Vbus measurement so that is why there is one less bit for the Vbus value. The Vsense uses the 13 bits as it requires the sign bit.
