LMP2012QML-SP: using "LMP2012QML-SP" as a temperature switch

 I am looking into the possibility of using "LMP2012QML-SP" as a temperature switch (e.g., below 1 temperature it has 1 output, and above that temperature it has a different output). However, I am having trouble understanding if this switch is "Single Pole Double Throw" or different? or would it behave as a simple single pole single throw switch? or I am having trouble understanding if I can use it as a switch at all? I see that the part has 10 terminals

    The LMP2012QML-SP is a precision operational amplifier, intended for space-grade applications. You can use it to generate/buffer/drive the two different output voltages that you want, but it can't act as a switch between them on its own. It seems like to do what you want to do, you'd need not only the amplifier but also a comparator, and possibly a physical relay switch, depending on if the Output voltage is just supposed to be two different DC levels or something else:

    RTD/similar temperature sense -> comparator with hysteresis -> comparator output provides excitation of relay to switch between Output1 and Output2 of LMP

    If the output voltage just needs to see a DC shift, you could structure it more like this:

    RTD/similar temperature sense -> comparator with hysteresis -> output of comparator changes effective voltage at LMP input via summing node, thus changing Output

    "Single pole double throw" means you have one input that switches between two separate outputs, as opposed to "single pole single throw" which has one input and either connects or disconnects (floats) one output.
