INA230: INA230 and INA237

Is there are why the INA237 can be used as a replacement for 230? What are the adjustments that we can take into considerations?

Hello Mark,

The INA237 should be able to replace the INA230. Of course all the software would need to be adjusted as there are different registers and settings and the specifications would not all be the same. Both the Vshunt and the Vbus ranges are larger on the INA237. There are different conversion times. The address pin configuration are the same.

So for a replacement the layout and software are a complete rework. For specification most are comparable.

Registers of INA230 and INA231 seem to be the same, as well as calculus used to get different data. If I replace INA230 by INA231 will I also have to modify software ?
