Customer would like to know the power consumption about the INA219BIDR, can I calculate it with below under 25 degree of room temperture?
Rja=111.3,
Tj= 150
150=25+111.3*Pd.
maximum Pd = 1.12W.
so the this device maximum power loss is 1.12W, is that correct? or you have any comments?

Hi Mark,
The calculation reflects the thermal capability of the SOIC package itself, and has nothing to do with INA219 actual power dissipation.
To calculate the actual power dissipation, simply apply P=VI equation to the numbers found in the EC table:
Hence, the max power consumption by INA219 is 5.5V*1mA=5.5mW.
