Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with LM306. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

Can I use that device LM306 to switch the voltage between +6V and -8V in following switching frequency= 100kHZ up to 1MHz

The voltage +6V and -8V will be generated by ourselves.

    Thanks for your post.  Just to clarify, they want the output to switch between the levels of +6 and -8V and they have both of these voltage available in the system.  If that is the case, I think the LM311 is a better option and it is still fast enough for that frequency range.  I believe the LM306 is specifically intended to have the input stage operate off of split power supplies but the output is intended to be ground referenced.  So the LM306 would want the output logic low to be 0V, not -8V.
