INA293: Overload recovery time

Part Number: INA293

Dear team,

My customer is also interested in the overload recovery time of the INA293 as has been asked on the following thread :https://e2e.ti.com/support/amplifiers-group/amplifiers/f/amplifiers-forum/1030897/ina293-saturation-to-active-current-measurement--recovery-time?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=ina293%20recovery#

Would you be able to advise some typical numbers and how much margin is advised to take into consideration ?

Is there any possible way to simulate it ?

Best regards,

Nir.

  • Hello Nir,

The recovery time like I mentioned depends on the overdrive condition.  For example the longest time recovering from a negative 70mV input the recovery time was about 70µs and will decrease as the overdrive is less.  This is from a negative input to a voltage that provides a 4V at the output.  We do not model this.
