INA199: Different between INA199A2 and INA199B2

Part Number: INA199

Hi Team,

I would like to double check that what are the main Different between INA199A2 and INA199B2 ?

Only different from the VCM input voltage as below ?

I want to check whether my customer can replace A and B version directly without any risk ?

Thanks!

Kai

  • Hi Kai,

Aside from the common mode range difference you noted, they are different in ESD rating:

There is also a difference when stressed with large input transients. Version A may sustain damage from fast transients, as described in the datasheet:

The two versions are otherwise identical in terms of electrical characteristics. They can be interchanged if these differences are not a concern.
