LM741: Offset null pin

Hi E2E,

How can we use or add the offset pins in a Pspice simulation of LM741? Our customer observed during the simulation that there is an offset missing and would like to add this offset by using these offset pins. Is it possible to use the offset pins? During the measurement and in the simulation the highest output voltage was nearly 15V because Vcc is 15V. However, the other measurement had a voltage of 2V and in the simulation it is -1.5V. Is this difference caused by the offset pins?

Hey Carlo,

Could you please include a schematic so we can help determine if the difference caused by offset? You can add an offset voltage to a simulation by adding a DC voltage source on one of the pins (screenshot below)

Jerry, you should really put that offset in series with the V+ input, across the inputs shorts out the op amp inputs

Hello Jerry,

The problem is solved now. Our customer did another measurement and observed that the difference between simulation and measurement is the offset because the second measurement is equal to the simulation.
