ISO122: ISO122

Part Number: ISO122
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1411, ISO224,

Hi,

I wish to use the aforementioned amplifier in voltage sensing circuit. The required output voltage level of the opamp is 0 to 3.3V. What is the recommended +Vs1 and +Vs2 for this case?

Thanks and regards,

  • Hi Upasana,

To use the ISO122, you would have to have at least +/-5V power supplies on each side of the device - you need the negative rail as well as the positive.  If you can limit the input voltage to 0-2V, you might consider the AMC1411.  The AMC1411 is a newer isolation amplifier that has the same 14mm clearance the ISO122 and does not need the negative power supply.  Another option would be the ISO224, that has a similar voltage input range as the ISO122, but only requires a 5V supply on each side of the chip.
