OP07C: About the model of the op amp

Our circuit uses OP07. In order to save PCB area, we hope to find one that can replace OP07, and encapsulate two op amps in an SOP8.

It is best to have the same pin definition as LM358 like the below picture. In addition, we are more concerned about Vos and noise, and compared with OP07 the price should not be too high.

could you give us some suggestions？

What supply voltage are you using? What speed (GBW, slew rate) do you need?

Supply Voltage ：±15V

GBW: Same as OP07 （0.6MHz typ）

Slew Rate :Same as OP07 （0.3V/uS）

You probably want the OPA2202 or OPA2197.

Hi Alvin,

OPA07C and TLV07 are very similar, but they come with a single die per op amp package. Both parts seem not in stock currently.

If you are looking for LM358, dual op amp package, the part seems to be available currently.

Are you looking for in stock parts currently? What ire your pricing range and volume? Both OPA07C and TLV07 are the cost optimized parts, and others will likely cost more.

TLV2186 dual op amp are other option and it is in stock currently. If the voltage offset is not critical for a application, you may ask GPRAMPS support team for further options or I can forward it to the support team.

Thanks for your reply.

Compared with OP07C, LM358 Vos is too large to meet our replacement requirements.

The voltage of TLV2186 can be ±12V，but our power supply is ±12V, which cannot meet our derating requirements.

We can accept a better indicator op amp with a slightly higher price (preferably less than 5RMB)，do you have any good suggestions?

In addition, can you also recommend an op amp that integrates 4 op amps with the same level of performance as OP07C ?（Vcc should be ±12V）

TLV4376 TLV4197 OPA4202 are cost optimized quad op amps. The issues are that these parts are not in stock. There are IC shortage on the market in general. For instance, OPA4202 has very low quantities in stock currently. OPA2202 is dual package of the same part (OPA4202).

You may search for dual or quad precision op amps from TI website in the link below. It is getting difficult to find low cost ones recently. If the required volume is high, I may be able to assist.
