Hello

I'm utilizing BOOSTXL-TLV8544PIR board with CC2650 Lauchpad. I was able to download and flash the board with BOOSTXL-TLV8544PIR FIRMWARE but I need to make some changes into the code. So I was wondering if I could have access to the source code of the firmware?

Also, please guide me on the software tools needed to compile and flash the code.

Hello Sina,

Could you elaborate on what you need the source code for? The BOOSTXL PIR board is provided as a reference and as a proof of concept to design your own board. Is the firmware/gui not working for you? If so please provide more information so we may help you troubleshoot.

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for the reply. No everything is working fine. I just need to make some small changes in the way the LEDs are being controlled. specially I would like to add a 3rd led to the board triggered by motion detection.

Sina,

There already is a diode triggered by motion detection. Additionally what is the purpose you are using this for? This is not set up to be an end-equipment, just a reference design.

Still would be great if you could provide the source code as we might need to add other changes like some filtering and so on. Is there any problem/ against policy in sharing the code?

Hey Sina,

We do not release the source code for this product. Again, I must stress that this is provided as an example of a function that the TLV8544 can be used for, and not intended to be repurposed into a separate end equipment. You can write your own software using the intended software library for the MSP430 suite of devices, but we do not give out the source code.
