OPA2188: OPA2188AIDR different bottom markings

Hi,

My end user/customer brought up this question regarding bottom marking for part#OPA2188AIDR

There are 2 different types of bottom markings In the same reel and wonder if it is typical for this part:

The curve tracing has been tested and shows consistency among samples while my end user has this bottom marking question waiting to be confirmed.

Please help clarify.

Hello Chen,

I checked the TI internal system that specifies the OPA2188AIDR product assembly and found that TI does not dictate the bottom side marking. I investigated the bottom side marking a few years ago for another product (INA114) in our Precision Amplifiers product family several years ago and the same information I found then applies to the OPA2188AIDR:

TI reserves the right to use different equipment to process and assemble product all intended for the same production lot. The marking on the top side is what TI controls closely and that has to conform to the TI requirements for the particular product being manufactured.

Thank you very much for your answer. I believe your answer is crucial to my question. However, we found that die did not have ti logo on the die. Please confirm whether it is right

Hi Chen,

Many newer amplifiers from our Precision Amplifiers product line do not have the TI logo on the die. What I see in the die image you provided looks good for the OPA2188AIDR.
