AMC1311: VIN to VOUT delay and phase delay

Genius 17325 points
Part Number: AMC1311

Hello,

My customer has a question for AMC1311 delay time and phase delay.

The AMC1311 datasheet specifies “VIN to VOUTN/P signal delay(50% - 50%) as TYP 2.1us and max 3.1us.

And Figure 21 shows “output phase vs input frequency” data.

Does “VIN to VOUTN/P signal delay(50% - 50%)= typ 2.1usec” include this output phase delay in Figure 21.

For example, assumed VIN = 20KHz sin signal.

From figure 21, the phase delay at 20KHz is about 10 degree.

10 degree@20KHz means about 1.39usec delay.

So is the delay from VIN to VOUT 2.1usec + 1.39usec?

Or just is it just 2.1usec? The below is my image.

I simulated with Pspice and it showed just about 2usec delay.
From this simulation, “VIN to VOUTN/P signal delay(50% - 50%)” seems to include the phase delay in Figure 21.

I just want to confirm it if it is correct.

Regards,
Oba
