LM2904: Difference between LM2904PWR-JF and LM2904PWR

Hi,

In the URL below, there was a description that "JF model is Japan region only device."

Does that mean it is distributed only in Japan? Or does it mean a product manufactured in Japan?

Also if there is a difference in function, please let me know.

My customer is considering replacing the LM2904PWR with the LM2904PWR-JF.

It was the same chip; the only difference was the language of the datasheet.

Hello Koki-san,

It is only distributed in Japan. The JF typically has lower supply current and less phase margin in some unity gain circuits. The part number has specific silicon die revision. I would recommend changing to LM2904BIPWR instead. It is more stable and has better sink current than JF.
