ISO122: ISO122 soic package for new design

Part Number: ISO122
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO224, AMC1411

Hi,

In page 20 of the datasheet ISO122 soic packages are marked as active. I would like to ask if you still recommend this isolated amplifier for a new design with an intended life cycle and support of 15 years.

Kind regards

Spyros

  • Hi Spyros,

The ISO122 is nearly 30 years old now!  You can find our policy on part longevity at this link.  If you are interested, please take a look at the ISO224 which is a newer device that has a similar input voltage range to the ISO122 but uses a smaller package and only needs single high/low side supply.  If you need the clearance that the ISO122 provides, another alternate part for you would be the AMC1411.  The AMC1411 only has a 0-2V input range, but provides 14mm of clearance.
