INA228-Q1: How to prevent and recover from checksum error

Part Number: INA228-Q1

In a power switching implementation using the INA228-Q1 we are getting incorrect BusVoltage measurements paired with a DIAG_ALRT value of: 0x00 or 0x02. Checking documentation, bit0 = low means "Checksum error".

- How can checksum errors be prevented?

- How can I recover form a checksum error?

Hello,

Please try a software reset or a power on reset. Also please tell me your supply voltage you are using. If too low this could be an issue. Also how does your supply ramp look like during power up. What bypass capacitor are you using and how close to the device is the bypass cap. This may be the same issue as your other forum question.
