In my design the INA301A2 give a voltage on the output corresponding to the measure. (12V, 400mA, shunt resistor: 0.1Ohm)
(it is the same schematic than on the datasheet p13).
We also use the component to know when another component has finished to warm up. So we want to know at start up, when the current is below a fixed value (1.4V on Vlim).
The reset pin is set to gnd in transparent mode.
The alert pin is connected with a LED and a resistor it sinks 500µA.
Today, it works randomly, some time it works well, another time it stays at a low level, even well below the threshold. It looks like the alert pin or the comparator does not initialize well during start up. (My power supply takes 10 ms to go to 3.3V).
Is it a normal operation?
