Hi team,

My customer asks why NC pin do not connect as indicat datasheet table5-1.

But ref circuit NC pin connect to VCL and VCH (pin14,15)

    Hi Jimmy,

    in the footnote it says "NC = no connect". I think it is meant that the NC pins are not connected internally. This usually means that they can be connected to any potential. And here they are connected to neighboured pins to ease the layout.

    So, this "do not connect" entry in the table seems to be a typo and should say "not connected internally".

    Hello Jimmy,

       Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Kai is correct, but in some rare cases NC pins must be left floating. I will look into this with our design engineers, and get back to you with a confirmation.

    Hello Jimmy,

      We have confirmed that the NC pins are not connected internally; therefore, these pins are electrically isolated from the die. 

      Kai is correct, they are connected to neighboring pins to ease the layout.
