THS7372: Single channel Full HD Alternative

Part Number: THS7372

Hi Team,

The THS7372 incorporates one SDTV filter and three fixed Full-HD HDTV filters. Is there any other alternative similar to the THS7372, but with only single Full-HD filter? The THS7372 is a bit over-killed for my application.

    Hello Roy,

    For video amplifiers, the THS73XX family of parts are the best solution for FHD implementation.  There are 3-channel, 4-channel, and 6-channel products in this family.  While you may not require the additional channels, the cost of using a different high speed amplifier (possibly not intended for video) will likely exceed the cost of the THS7372 by 2x or 3x.

    The THS7372 does have disable functionality for either CVBS or FHD, so you can effectively operate the THS7372 as a 3-channel FHD device and only design around one of three channels.
