Analog signal Frequency Multiplication/Division

Hello ,

I have a single channel analog signal that can produce forexmaple 1kHz or 2Khz Signals 10Vp-p

I am looking for a solution to produce a second signal with half or double the frequency of this analog signal.

Forexample generating 2kHz analog sinusoidal signal from 1kHz analog sinusoidal signal.

All the ICs I 've found for frequency dividers or Multipliers are for digital signals/Clocks not analog signals?

Is there an IC for such objective ? is there a circuit that can be implemented for such function?

Hello Amr,

A true analog multiplier such as the MPY634 can easily be connected as a frequency doubler. See Figure 10 in the MPY634 datasheet:

Additionally, the MPY634 can also be configured as an analog divider seen in datasheet Figure 4.
