INA381: CMPREF Input PIN

Part Number: INA381

Hi,

In our customer's system, the voltage is applied to CMPREF before Vs.
Their power sequence is not recommended by reference to the absolute maximum rating, but as far as they actually test it is working fine.

Q1) Does CMPREF have an ESD protection diode built-in?
Q2) The note in "7.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings" states "(3) Input voltage may exceed the voltage shown without causing damage to the device if the current at that terminal is limited to 5 mA.".
Does this also apply to CMPREF?

I think that the customer's CMPREF has almost no current, so it just doesn't break down.

Regards,

Hiroshi
