TL074: Single supply (0V-5V)

Hello,

   Is it possible to use the TL074CDR amplifiers with sincle supply?. I mean 5v to the VCC+ pin and GND to VCC- to work with positive signal from 0V to 5V.

    Hi Andres,

    as single supply, yes, but see sections 6.5 and 6.6 of datasheet. And only the H-version can work with 5V. The non-H-version needs a minimum supply voltage of 10V.

    See also the very different common mode input voltage ranges. From these you can see that both versions are not input rail to rail capable. So, they cannot work with a signal from 0V to 5V with a single supply of 5V.

    The new H-version and the older non-H-versions are complete different designs and should not be confused, by the way.
