THS7372: can support VBI data format on TVI interface or not?

Hi Sir,

My customer would like to know that THS7372/THS7376 can support VBI data format(control PTZ camera) on the TVI interface or not?

    Hello Henry,

    The THS7372/THS7376 parts do not have specified TVI channel, however any of the three HD inputs will have appropriate bandwidth to handle an NTSC or TVI signal at the inputs.  Depending the bandwidth of your VBI signal (which carrier you use, such as NTSC), you can elect to use the HD or SD/CVBS channels.  Note that the internal filters present on all four channels dictate what bandwidth of signals are acceptable at that pin.  The CVBS input signal must fit within 9.5MHz BW or be attenuated, the HD channels have a 72MHz filter.

    If you can verify your signal bandwidth and other parameters acceptable with either of the channel types present on the device, then the device is performant to handle the signal type.
