TLV2772: ICT test requirement for TLV2772QPWR

Part Number: TLV2772

Hi team,

While PCBA, customer needs to do ICT test to ensure the good welding of IC. They usually add negative votlage on IC pin and GND and test the voltage drop of internal ESD or clamp diode. If there is voltage drop, the welding is good. So customer need ICT test requirement for TLV2772QPWR including the negative voltage range added on each pin and the current limit they should set.

Thanks and best regards

  • Hi Naizeng,

see the absolute maximum ratings in the datasheet. The maximum input current is 4mA. But I would limit the input current to values way lower than 4mA, for instance 100µA.

Take care that you don't power-up the OPAmp while biasing one of its pins with a negative voltage. This can cause latch-up or lock-up and can totally destroy the OPAmp.

  • Hi Naizeng,

Kai is correct, the Absolute maximum ratings table will give you a good idea of what conditions cause permanent damage to the device.

I typically try to stay at or below 10% rated maximum input current to ensure I do not damage the ESD cells. 100uA or so should be no issue for the amplifier.

Please let me know if you have any questions

    Best,

    Jacob
