Hi Expert,

LMH6733 and LMH6738 are pin to pin solution, but could you also help to confirm if these two parts are BOM to BOM compatible solution ?

Hi Mark,

after reading the sections "Feedback Resistor Selection" of both datasheets the two OPAmp are not fully BOM to BOM compatible for all gains, but look rather similar for very certain gains.

So, a schematic would be helpful to give a more precise answer.

Well Mark, they look pin compatible but really can't be functionally identical as teh LMH6733 is about 5.5mA/ch and the LMH6738 is more like 11.3mA/ch.

In this time period, we were all doing triple CFA parts for RGB applications, the OPA3691 is perhaps closer to the LMH6733.

And actually, a faster triple option is the OPA3695, but it is back up to 12mA/ch
