hi senoirs,

I can't understand actual power power[W] reproduce from register POWER by these two coefficients 0.2*CURRENT_LSB, could you help clairy more detail about the POWER come from ?

in my opinion,

POWER[W]=VBUS*Current(A)=VBUS_REGISTER*3.125mv/LSB*CURRENT_REGISTER*CURENT_LSB,is this correctly?

Thank you for using the TI forum.

The 0.2 multiplier is how the LSB is converted from the CURRENT_LSB based on internal calculations to convert the power output to 24 bits. It does not directly reflect the math done to calculate power from the other measured values.

For me this restores the actual power consumption is amazing,so I just want to know more of this internal calculation, could you show me the math medthod of the POWER register value from measured values

Unfortunately, that information is not in the datasheet, and therefore not available to the public.

That being said, you may be interested in looking at the INA226 datasheet (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ina226.pdf), which gives a little more info on how it's power register is calculated.
